MRI Scanner Suite - Concept
Concept design for a new MRI Scanner Suite as a standalone facility to cater for inpatients and outpatients.
To address under capacity for radiology diagnostics Nicorna looked at replacing an existing single scanner facility with a new standalone facility to house 3 MRI Scanners.
The facilities were designed for carrying out interventional work and allowed for 3 anaesthetic/recovery bays and waiting for patients in beds and ambulant patients.
As a stand alone unit accommodation for staff was included and access from both the existing hospital street and separate external outpatients entrance were included
